Dear Srila Prabhupada,

Please accept my obeisances. All glories to your beloved Spiritual Master Srila Bhaktisiddanta Saraswati Thakur Prabhupada.

Before your appearance in the western world in 1965 everything and everyone was like a dead man without any meaning to life.

By your supreme potency you brought the living dead to life. Now you are our life, real life, meaningful life.

By studying your beautiful qualities one may wonder how you obtained them. Maybe you have come from the heavenly planets. We have never experienced such a magnanimous personality as yourself. Soo sweet, soo charming, soo friendly, soo fatherly, soo calm, soo peacful, soo jolly, so kind, soo compassionate, soo wise, soo beautiful, soo merciful, lovingly, soo simple, soo authoritative, soo humble, soo gentle, soo grave. Every word you speak has a deep meaning. Your order cannot be denied.

You are the teacher of everyone because you know everything that has to be known. You only speak what you have heard from the Vedic literature, which was originally spoken by God Himself and you only speak of Him,the greatest personality who has no equal, nor is anyone greater. Everyone is subordinate to Him.

Srila Prabhupada, you have opened our darkened eyes with the torchlight of transcendental knowledge that directs us to associate directly with the Adhoksaja, the Lord beyond our sense perception, and reviving our lost relationship with Him.

By translating the Vedic scriptures as Srimad Bhagavad Gita AS IT IS and Srimad Bhagavatam you have caused a revolution in the hearts of honest men who have attentively heard them or read them. In these literatures you have given the lost souls the name of God, His address, His Activity, His form and personality, His entourage, His love for His lost children in the material existence and His desire to reclaim us.

Dear Srila Prabhupada, by distributing the holy name of Krsna all around the world in every town and village you have fulfilled the prediction of Lord Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu proving you are not an ordinary man or guru, but directly empowered by Krsna.

It is said in the Caitanya Caritamrita that unless one is empowered by the God Himself, no one can spread the holy name of the Lord around the world.

We can understand by the Vedic scriptures and by authorities in the line of devotional service to Krsna that by your qualities and symptoms that you have descended from eternal kingdom of God, Vaikuntha, a nitya siddha an eternally liberated soul.

Therefore who can imagine the great fortune of one who can gain a slight glimpse of your real eternal nature and obtain your mercy. For without your mercy no one can obtain the mercy of Lord Krsna or make any spiritual advancement. Therefore your lotus feet is our object of meditation.{Guruvastakam 8}

In the same Guruvastakam sloka 7, Vishvanatha Chakravati Thakura sings that the bonafide spiritual master is to be honored as much as the Supreme Lord being His most confidential servant. He states in Guruvastakam sloka 1, that the spiritual master also delivers us from the suffering of material existence where the continual repetition of birth and death is perpetually going on, unknown to the conditioned souls residing in Murtya Loka, the planet of death.

Srila Prabhupada, by your kindness and compassion mysteriously you have entered into our lives and bringing us to our real and original home Goloka Vrindavan.

Therefore let us serve you with all our heart and soul, and serve you according to your instructions in full surrender and spread your glories in every town and village on the globe while distributing your precious books enthusiastically and always chanting Hare Krsna Hare Krsna Krsna Krsna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare.
